Jannat Zubair Supports Shivangi Joshi Amid Controversy Over Shilpa Shinde’s Remarks
Actor Jannat Zubair has come out in support of her close friend Shivangi Joshi after comments made by Shilpa Shinde about Shivangi's personal life on the reality show Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa sparked widespread criticism on social media.
Sharing her thoughts on Instagram Stories, Jannat expressed disappointment over the personal remarks and said that judging a woman's character without truly knowing her is unfair. She added that she has known Shivangi for years and believes the actress is someone who upholds strong values.
Jannat further stated that while people may disagree with someone's actions or opinions, targeting a woman's character should never be treated as a form of entertainment.
The controversy began after Shilpa Shinde, during a conversation with fellow contestant Shreya Kalra, made comments about Shivangi's alleged relationships with her co-stars. In another exchange, Shilpa also made remarks related to Shivangi's personal life, which were widely shared on social media.
